Its not that I haven't been watching movies lately. To the contrary, its all I get to do in my free time.

But when I'm not working or helping out on a friend's film or book, I am in fact catching up on flicks. Let's catch up:

1. I should have mentioned this weeks ago, but I saw Limitless, Lincoln Lawyer, and Adjustment Bureau all in one week. Talk about all of Hollywood's finest male leads for one opening weekend. I couldn't say anything negative about any of these except for the cheesy ending to the Adjustment Bureau.

2. I also saw the very old Battle LA and Just Go With It. Did anyone like Battle LA? I thought the effects were cool, but not so sold on the acting. Just Go With It, I saw against my will, but ended up liking. I craved a trip to the beach after seeing this movie, but instead settled for homemade margaritas.

3. The bf and I have been catching up on older seasons of The Office. I'm talking like pre-Pam and Jim era. I'm not anticipating losing Steve Carrell on this show, not even if they keep Will Ferrel.

4. If you wanna know what else is going on, please visit my two friends' websites who are working hard on a book and movie: Chronicling his travels to Haiti, post the hazardous earthquake last year, Dr. Tipu Khan is helping victims recover. Not only Tipu taking time away from his own work and life to do this, but he is also funding his own trips out there. Read about his journey.
Craig Darr, director of Open to Love is pushing hard on developing his film that sheds a positive outlook on gay relationships. In an era of bullying and intolerance, Darr shares his inspiration for this movie on his website: www.circleoflightproductions.com.

Until next time y'all!
