Howdy Fellow Filmies,

It's been too long, hasn't it? This year has been cuh-razy for me and I am just now catching up! For starters I got a new job, it's fantastic, I love it and it's what I've been looking for in a career choice. The negative is that it's over an hour away and when I get home I'm usually exhausted. Plus the boyfriend and I have been taking our turns being bed-ridden sick, helping the other one out when the other isn't sick but then getting sick by contact, and so on and so on. Change is good, I know, but its all happening so quick. 

I've missed blogging like hell. Right before I fell into the quicksand that is currently my life, I found out that I'll need to do pick-ups for my movie. That means at least one more day of shooting and $ for equipment and labor. The positive is that I get to hang with the cast and crew again. Then I'll hang the director's hat and start showcasing the film.

In the meantime, I'm really jazzed that the Oscar's are coming soon. One perk to being sick is you can catch up on all the movies that were nominated that you missed throughout the year. Thank God for screener DVDs! What were some of your favorites? Were you pissed Christopher Nolan didn't get nominated?

I'm looking forward to updating all the news again as it comes, but first I wanted to let you know I'm still here and I've missed your company on the other side of the screen. Til next blog.
